The Sales Unit Manager is leading the key account managers, agents and distributors of BeNe.
Into actionIn the role of Sales Unit Manager you will lead the Sales Organization (5 direct reports) in Belgium & The Netherlands (BeNe) by driving top lines growth with all customers segments, through a profitable products range, where you focus first on proprietary genetics & the Syngenta Flowers brand. You represents BeNe within the European platforms and decision-making processes (e.g. pricing, forecast, Budget, Tactical plan, Go-To-Market etc.) and in local Syngenta Organization.
The Sales Unit Manager is leading the key account managers, agents and distributors of BeNe. Managing and coordinating the day to day sales activities in line with rules & compliancy within the company is part of the job along with translating Syngenta Flowers Strategy to local needs. You will focus on year on year Target achievement in growth & profitability improvement (KPI's), prepare Monthly Business Review and Budget accordingly. You will support and develop field force performance: SOW, revenue and customers’ profitability through key account planning and you develop & deliver compelling customer driven offers. Furthermore, you ensure an effective collaboration with Sales Support, Marketing, TecSpec, Product management and other Syngenta functions to maximise the value to and from each account.
Your profileIn order to make this position a success, you have at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in commercial/business and/or horti- or agri culture education and you have 5 years of experience in our industry. You are seen as a real inspiriting and motivating People Manager with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in an International Matrix organisation. You have absolute excellent communication- and influencing skills in Dutch / English. Value selling & negotiation is in your nature as well as you are a problem solver and decisiveness. Least but not least you have at least a 5 years of proven commercial track record.
